Clinical Trials
MediPearl follows current Good Clinical Practice (cGCP)
and conducts our pivotal human trials of our plant-derived products in
collaboration with local clinical trial centers. A phase I/II trial on
Proveq MPCB was conducted at Department of Medical Oncology, Singapore
General Hospital in advanced lung cancer patients who had failed all
conventional chemotherapy. The patients were
accrued and given MPCB, for three months, in escalated doses. Proveq MPCB is
well tolerated even up to 7.2 g per day. Response was
well and median survival time was extended from the expected 4.5
months to 9.5 months for all.
