MediPearl is planning to have a phase I dose finding clinical trial of Proveq MPCB in breast cancer patients with refractory tumours at the National Cancer Center. MediPearl is also arranging to continue a randomized phase III study of Proveq MPCB in the recurrence of patients with metastasis breast cancer who have achieved a major response with first or second line chemotherapy at National Cancer Center, when the phase I study is completed.

In a recent pilot study on female postmenopausal subjects at National University of Singapore, MPGMA was found to be safe and well tolerated in 18 weeks of treatment. Patients were followed up for one year. In this study, the trend in efficacy is clear. MPGMA is found to preserve the bone mineral density in the hips.
